The 23rd edition of Innovative Manufacturing Engineering & Energy International Conference (IManEE 2019) was the result of a collaboration between the Department of Manufacturing and Industrial Management of the University of Piteşti (Romania) and the Department of Manufacturing Engineering Technology of the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iaşi (Romania). It was the first time this conference is hosted by University of Piteşti, being for the fifth time when the Manufacturing and Industrial Management Department is involved in organizing this conference. This event took place in the year when Faculty of Mechanics and Technology of the University of Piteşti celebrated 50 years from its foundation, representing a recognition of her prestige. The prestige enjoyed by the Faculty of Mechanics and Technology is the result of the didactical and scientific research activities carried out by competent teachers who, together with the graduates, managed to make known on a national and international level the existence of a technical faculty in Piteşti, closely related to the automotive industry. Therefore, the theme of the IManEE 2019 International Conference is “50 Years of Higher Technical Education at the University of Pitesti”. The papers were published by IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering and are marked as ISI indexed by WoS. The 2019 International Conference Proceedings are available at IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering.

The 24th edition of Innovative Manufacturing Engineering & Energy International Conference (IManEE 2020) was our first time edition that was held exclusive online. It has been the result of collaboration between the Manufacturing Technology Laboratory of the National Technical University of Athens (Greece) and the Department of Manufacturing Engineering Technology of the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iaşi (Romania). The conference was a major success shadowing the harsh conditions given by the pandemic. Researchers, PhD. students and graduates, teachers and private entities have joined together for two full days of presentations, ideas and new concepts. The papers were published by IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering and were submitted for ISI indexing. The 2020 International Conference Proceedings are available at IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering.

The 25th edition of Innovative Manufacturing Engineering & Energy International Conference (IManEE 2021) was held online and despite the fact that the pandemic had a huge impact on research and mobilities, we were happy that the communication and the exchange of ideas and knowledge were experienced by the international participants from Greece, Israel, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, France, Germany, Serbia, Portugal, Bulgaria, Russia, Moldova Republic, Iraq, and Romania. The papers were published by IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering.
